Saratoga Museums and Historical Sites

Visitors to Saratoga will find many museums and historical sites. Most notably, Saratoga is the home of Saratoga National Historical Park and three national Museums, which are: The National Museum of Dance, The National Museum of Racing (horses) and The National Bottle Museum.
Saratoga National Historical Park was the site of the Battle of Saratoga, which many scholars identify as one of the most important military battles in world history. A year-round visitor center and seasonal tour road highlight the history and characters that led to the American victory.
The National Museum of Dance is a celebration of every dance form, from Ballet to Tap. Located within the beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park, it is a wonderful place to visit.
The National Bottle Museum is located in Ballston Spa. The eclectic collection highlights all shapes and sizes of the many bottles that have existed.
Saratoga is also home to the Saratoga Automobile Museum, the New York State Military Museum, the Children's Museum, Grant Cottage, the Schuyler House, the Saratoga Battle Monument, the Saratoga Springs History Museum and Brookside Museum (the Saratoga County Historical Center) in addition to the many town museums scattered throughout the county.
